Melee Attack Purgatory - Why Can't Cancel Melee Animations?

I have just started using the Fragor and up until now not having the abilty to cancel melee animations (I.E. Regular swings/ Ground Finishing Moves) has not really be a problem , more of a minor annoyance.

 

However, now it is just silly I will literally go into rants 2-3 seconds long where I am hitting nothing but air or finishing someone on the ground who is long dead. During this time I am have no control of my character and it really destroys the fluidity of the game that I have come to love.

 

Takes some notes from other hack and slash games and make the melee attacks interruptible via block please.

thaT's the whole point of the fragor

slow but big range and strong

my advice would be to avoid groundattacks , getting fury(melee firerate) mod at an upgrade leve of +40% or higher and always cancel the jumpattack with dash
