Change the rarity to Legendary. There is only one and it is a legendary blade, lol.

Not to mention, Sephiroth is the only one who can weild this blade. :P

I also think that Square Enix or whatever they are now own that sword.

Could be wrong though.

Actually I was referring to the real sword, not the washpole one from FFVII. Square enix does not own rights to that name either.

Also, the melee damage should be reduced to around 55 and the ice damage removed completely. The other attribute should be bleeding damage or something.

Forget the elemental parts (both the ice and the charged random thing).

Reduce the charge damage, but improve the charge speed.

Reach should be the possible longest, and basic swing speed could be -well whatever.

Masamune could be the most op 2hander weapon, since the current ones are terrible or even worse. BUT it could also be a fast one hander sword with high charge damage and not too long reach.

Other than that: it will never born. But a dai-katana like weapon would be really good since the only 2 hander sword in the game is a crappile. with shorter reach than a dead grineer.

I originally had Dot on it but I didn't know if the team was going to expand the element damage so I kept it simple. Basically the Masamune is suppose to beat the gram and compete with the sicindo but yea Its over power but realistically soon or later they will be boosting future weapon stats so might as well get a jump on ideas.

50 items doing the same damage isn't a bad idea since you know everyone is balance but lets  say they where going to put over power rare hard to find weapons lol.

Washpole one from FFVII?..

Is that an insult to FF...

Cause I happen to like those games very much. :|

the blade of a Masamune is around 4 to 5 feet in length.

Since the designers have the ability to create weapons from looking at different concept lets see if steve or a weapons designer blow our minds away with this concept.

I was actually referring to the washpole from Dark Souls... which reminds me I have to finish that game one of these days.
