Kikkerke
Hail all: If, in game, you head to Arsenal, you have on the right side the Primary Wapon, the Secondary Weapon and the Melee Weapon. Since it does not matter which I take considering they are all the same system, I'll take the Primary Weapon as example. NOTE: These are examples with likely incorrect numbers, but the numbers do not matter for this example! Primary Weapon: MK1-Braton 15(lvl); Mod 1: Serration level 4 (+60%damage) Mod 2: Piercing Hit level 2 (+20% Piercing Damage) Mod 3: Point Strike (+20% Critical Chance) Mod 4: Magazine Warp level 2 (+ 10% Clip Size) Now, when comparing the weapon to another gun, you'll see the base stats of the gun, despite it's leveled with mods. Why not show this instead in the left window (the one showing equipped weapon): Damage: 16 (+60% +20AP = 28.8) Fire Rate: 6.3 () Accuracy: 40 (+20%Crit Chance) Clip: 60 (+10% = 66) If we then choose the MK1-Braton, we can see the difference to the one selected in the right side, displaying the base statistics. As said, this is merely an idea, for the reason that, despite all mods, we cannot figure out what the weapon stats are. Can also -and preferably will- be used for the Warframe. Thoughts? Comments? Do post them, but please refrain from flaming. Thank you.
Mishotaki
I agree, having some updated stats when you add on the mods to see what the damage/speed/crit then becomes... it's not like they are short on space, there is plenty of space in the menu where you add the mods and the "comparison" thing when you switch guns is very weird to me, why is it comparing the levels? stacey69
I prefer to use a calculator and do it myself. Kind of keeps me warm on long cold evenings. Edited May 6, 2013 by stacey69
Lord.Finster
It should be reverse. Always show the base stats. It is impossible to show both guns completely modded with the same mod layout because some weapons have polarities and others do not. You can pack more or stronger mods on a latron then on a Gorgon for example.
Kikkerke
To see the base you just add the gun in the comparison window. It entirely makes NO sense comparing both say the Lex gun with basic stats LEFT AND RIGHT, now is there? More since the lvl of the gun is shown, but there it entirely ends? Either strip the level of the owned gun in comparison, or show it's FULL stats. Not do something only half. Basically, either go full, or do not go at all, IMHO. To be honest, what's the use of comparing if both show the same frikken stats??? Thank you for replying.
