Drop Ships

I think it would be very interesting if the Grineer and Corpus used the ships, we've seen as static objects or moving in the background, had the ability to drop off troops right in the middle of combat. An interesting implementation of this would be the option to shoot down the air/spacecraft as it approaches; giving out rare loot (mods and resources) after combating the surviving crew on the ship. There have been many games to have drop ships and they add an interesting dynamic to the game.

this is actually a really good idea!

 

i had an idea for dynamic events such as grineer breaching pods ripping through the hulls of corpus ships during invasions or corpus units teleporting into grineer ships/asteroid bases. or maybe one where we have to escape a self-destructing ship with stuff collapsing around us. 

dynamics would really make the game way more interesting.

You could just use the drop pods from invasion missions to launch more grineer down to planets.

Or...the drop ship could drop...drop pods.
