Mk-2 Braton

Pretty simple, straight forward. Rename the "Braton" to "Braton MK-2".

 

Most of us won't have trouble with the name of the weapon because we've been around for a while. But new players just starting out might hear that the Braton is pretty good and will stick with their MK-1. If we called the "Braton" an MK-2, that'd turn into "The MK-2 is pretty good".

 

I know, silly of me to suggest a name change, but this will ease new player integration better. It will also make it very clear that the Braton MK-2 is, for all intents and purposes, an upgrade.

they are both good options. if anything it should just be renamed so people can actually look at the stats and differences and make a valid choice.

You make some valid points. And true, renaming it will make it easier to compare them anyway.

 

Besides, a larger number doesn't necessarily mean it's a better gun. In real rifles, the M21 is a M14 configured as a DMR, but they serve different roles and are good in their own fields.

But larger numbers in games does have the connotation of better.
