Armour Piercing On Boltor?

Is there any point putting Armour piercing mod on the Boltor?

Yes. It acts like an extra elemental damage source. I have a maxed out Piercing Hit on mine, and lvl 30+ Grineer drop dead fast.

Armour Piercing, or AP, mods work much in the same way as elemental mods. They add additional % damage of the armour piercing type to your weapon.

Meaning that if your weapon already is Armor Piercing, it will just add x% of extra damage to each hit. Funny thing is that Armor Piercing mods generally are of high value (less mod slots for the damage they do vs other elemental mods), so it's probably a good idea to always include these.
