Second, press start button (or whatever the name is) press y and make sure your matchmaking is set to public. On each mission node will be the number of squads playing on it, if it says 0 you'll be solo obviously. I'm on at random times if I catch you, I'll help the best I can. Lastly, look around for a clan. My clan, Aim to Kill, has helped me alot as a new player, and they are recruiting alot new players. Any clan you join will help you. Managed to level up a good bit so I can now take part in void, its just gonna be finishing the nodes on planets to unlock more now but it shouldn't be a massive issue getting done! I don't mind helping through lower levels/planets, defenses/survivals, or participating in not-so-popular Rescue missions.
