n8m4r3
Hey guys, first i want to state 2 things about the current alert missions: 1. it's odd to fight the jackal in 90% of the alert missions 2. if you've got all artifacts, there is no point in doing alert missions (i don't want to use the proggys, which spoil my surprise for question marks ;) ) second i want to state 2 things about endgame: 1. there is none, besides farming and doing alert missions, that yield rewards, i don't need anymore 2. there is no reliable way of getting those last rare mods (especially multishot in my case, which i didn't get in over 120h of gameplay and a lot of endless defense missions etc.) Proposal: Overthink the options alert missions can give you! 1. There could be a new alert mission every 10-20 minutes 2. Grab the objective from every other mission of the game (besides defense missions) 3. Make the rewards more random, so that, for example, there is a chance of 5% getting random bps, 10% getting artifacts, 10% getting uncommon or rare mods 10% getting 1 quantum of very rare materials (orokincell, neurodes, etc.), or 50 of uncommon materials (rubedo, alloyplates, etc.) 20% getting 5 Platinum (or extra credits, if you want to save the platinum accquisition for those rich guys among us ;) ) 45% getting plain extra credits Conclusion: Endgame wouldn't be grinding all the same missions over and over, also the jackal would be much less hated. Alert missions will become more random and the reward more surpising. Plus it will give unlucky players, like myself, a more reliable way of farming rare mods. Downside: the spoiling proggys + twitter would become almost useless, besides showing the exact location of an alert mission. greetings n8m4r3 P.S.: Hope that you can understand my idea, despite writing in gross english ;D Edited May 8, 2013 by n8m4r3
