While getting the data is most of the mission, I think the game would be more fun if sometimes there was a "Now defend the console while the data is uploaded." Yes your mission would take longer, but I do not feel there are enough "defend" missions, and tossing something like that in would be fun IMO. Even though it is cliche, and you would expect future supercomputers to have super USB ports, the missions could use a bit more defense-oriented gameplay to spice things up, especially since the defense missions are incredibly short/non-challenging as is.
