Expansion

Was just wondering if there were any plans for the future in terms of expanding the solar system or perhaps being able to travel to new ones. Also any plans on increasing level cap or adding different mission types, more interesting alerts that actually affected things in the system. 

Just thoughts but if there is any info I would love to hear about it

As you can see we already have new planets, such as Eris, Europa and such.

i remember this was mentioned on a livestream. i think they said there were no plans to do so. if i remember right o.O

There's a lot more moons/natural satellites in the Solar System to add as 'planets' before we can skip to another solar system.

Yep. Seems they are tossing around the idea of a "prestige" system for weapons and frames. Their level would return to zero but you could add a polarity to one of the slots each time you do it.

The Orokin areas are also coming in Update 8 according to the Livestream, which will be entirely new areas.  Nothing was said on where, though.

Yeah I was thinking somthing a bit more substantial and long term than just 2 planets, more like different solar systems in general and not just adding on to the current one. Hopefully this would be taken up in the future, would hate to see this get stale.

The new Orokin area will be within a 'pocket' of space according to latest livestream and a special procedure will be required for entry.

 

Our solar system is vast, there are many, many things to explore before we hit the FTL button and journey to outer space.
