I remember when I started playing I got all these cool BPs and I was like "OHHH, THIS MUST BE OP!" Later to find Normal gorgon is complete trash. Sure beats getting Primary Item exp when you don't have any Primary items available to level anyway. RNGeesus has smiled upon thee. Yeah, I've been having good luck with this.
