Corpus Really Need Some Tanky Units

The Grineer have heavies. Machinegunner, Napalm, Bombard are super-sturdy. (not so much for commander and powerfist/flameblade dudes)

The Infested have ancients that have tons of hp and armor.

The corpus have... shockwaves, railguns and fusions?

Really, those seem to have less hp than crewmen! And also take bonus damage from abilities it seems.

Corpus units die too fast from abilities. That is when compared to other factions.

Banshee just wipes all the corpus out before they hit lvl60 mark. Even then TWO banshees wipe all the corpus out completely, no matter the level.

Volt obliterates corpus a lot faster than ember obliterates the infested.

Really, the most useful tactic against corpus now is "run into the crowd and press 4" for most frames (volt, banshee, mag, ex, saryn, frost). If you try this against grineer or infested, you are pretty much dead.

Yeah, corpus have a lot of firepower with snipers and railguns, but they seem to be too easy to kill.

Perhaps an addition of a sturdy and tanky unit would fix the problem. The unit does not need to have a lot of firepower, but should be able to survive an onslaught of abilities.

For instance, a lvl50 grineer bombard or a toxic ancient are extremely hard to kill without armor-piercing weapons.

It would also be very nice for it to be a new unit.

Something like a mini-hyena.

The game tells us they hunt in packs.  So I would imagine a few mini-hyenas (2-4 at a time) being a formidable group to run across.  Hope they're working on this.

as long as they are 'mini' and they have the ancients' hp, that would be cool

Since corpus MOAs look somewhat like birds, why not make a big "Bio-Tech" dog-like bot that would somewhat resemble the Hyena but lack in power and health? It would not be as agile due to its size but can have miniguns on it's back.

Unlike Grineer heavy units, it should have different types of weaponry:
-Miniguns are always good, they're the "heavy" classic guns.
-I'd suggest giving them shock grenades that can stun for a 1-2 sec period and drain shields slowly afterwards.
-I can also suggest adding a simple rocket launcher that does damage which is almost the same as the bombards, or a rapid-fire rocket launcher that shoots multiple small rockets which fly faster but deal considerably less damage.

Also, what about actual heavy Corpus Crewmen? Something like Nef Anyo, but also lacking in health and power. How about units that take increased shock damage like all the Corpus do, but don't get stunned by it?I'd like to see some Corpus engineers that wield exoskeletons, something like the Aliens loader exoskeletons.
Something like this:

They could have weapons such as a flamethrower and would use their claws to deal massive damage at close range.

Anyways, unless DE wants do add something new, it could always remake.Buffing the "special" MOAs and reducing their spawn rate to that of other factions' heavy units would be great.

As for everyone else, feel free to criticize my ideas.
Thanks for the attention. :3

Corpus had tanky support units when Leech Osprey were bugged.

It provided an interesting change of scenario; expend time and ammunition killing Leech Osprey first to avoid their shield-draining harassment, or save them for last while they pepper Tenno with annoying leeches which could potentially be troublesome but were easily removable.

People didn't like having to think or try that hard, and asked for it to be nerfed/fixed.

So there's that, I guess.

Well, lore wise, it would make sense for them to add, not miniature, but regular Hyenas. That would certainly become "very problematic for Tenno in the field."

Of course, the Hyena is currently a boss-level proxy, so it would take some tweaking. All in all, it's a cool suggestion.

The argument against this, though is that the corpus aren't supposed to be tanky, since they're all but completely mid to long range units, the difficulty should be getting into nuke-range of them rather than them surviving a nuke. Unfortunately, Tenno are slippery, and the game offers so many options for mobility that are used in higher-level games (stealth, decoys, teleportation, iron skin), that getting shot at can simply be avoided.
