Strun<Mk-1 Strun?

After doing a bit of looking lately i decided to dust off my old strun to make a very unusual discovery; the standard struns damage was cut in HALF making it statistically weaker than the mk-1 variant which really doesn't sound like something that would be done purposely, i am quite curious as to how and why this has occurred but it does moderately bug me seeing as how i have 3 formas on my strun just to see this happen.

 

(Not completely sure where this might belong, since im completely sure if this is a bug or not)

Firing Rate =                  2.5 -- 2.1

DMG =                          84.0 VS 120

Impact dmg =              46.2 -- 66.0

Puncture dmg =          12.6 -- 18.0

Slash dmg =                25.2 -- 36.0

 

DPS =                       84x2.5 vs 120x2.1

        =                            210 VS 252
