Glaive Bugged?

I'm leveling up my new glaive and it is very fun to use. I cannot say it is not strong because it is not yet modded, but I noticed a bug that made glaive really not worth it. I do not know if it is just my account or everyone's. When I was playing with my friends, I threw the glaive and it did not show any damage at all. I threw it a couple more times at the same enemy. Still no damage. I tried to use melee and it shows numbers......Horrible numbers....I was fighting grineers by the way. My damage was only 4 and 7 at lucky headshots. I was actually quite suprised. Anyway moving back to the topic, glaive was useless at that mission and I was forced to abort and join again because I did not want to be useless.

Glaive is a lag dependent weapon, you have lag = glaive is useless. I have Glaive to so i know what im saying :)

yes, there has been talk in forums on this before~

there are some abilities that have the same problem~

usually those things only work when you're the host strangely enough~
I don't know what causes the problem but be sure it's a known issue

be patient for now and before you know it they'll fix it~

Glaive's throw has massive issues while playing non-host/client.

 

And yeah, without good AP mods, normal attack does 4~8 damage.

Its an off-host bug which can be avoided if you throw the glaive right next to an enemy.

Even right next to an enemy, the bug can still happen if your latency is really bad.

 

If you are hosting, it will not happen.

 

If you are not hosting, its dependent on the latency. How good your connection to the host is. In my case 80-90% dont do dmg. Im european and most of my hosts 'murican.

 

Devs talked shortly about it in the 5th livestream.
