Artifact And Rank Suggestions

Why not add another incentive to Ranking up other then Rank specific Items -Hek, Gorgon, Rhino-

 

 

 

At Rank 1 you would recieve an Arcana -cause the artifacts are in a deck get it!-

 

Which has Three Artifact slots allowing you to equip any three Artifacts -Which at this point is an obvious choice which three-

 

 

However Artifacts level up based on the number of times you collect them up to Rank 10 - IE collect one to get to rank 1, collect two more for Rank 2 so on and on - increasing their effect -  scavnegers gives more ammo from a pickup, Steel charge applies more of a damage boost, Energy siphon regens more energy faster-

 

 

Each artifact would have a Prestige value that goes up with Rank, and the amount of PP -lols- would be based on your Mastery Rank

 

IE Rank 1 gives you 10 PP, Rank 2 and 3 gives 5

 

Basically when you Change Titles -Like Novice to Disciple- you gain 10 pp So Rank 1, 4,7 and 10 give 10 pp

 

While the Silver/Gold stages of a rank only reward 5 pp

 

 

It's akin to the space marines only letting you have major swag if you prove yourself, The more you prove yourself the more willing the order is to let you have access to major Artifacts

 

You could then add different versions of arcanas, Some that up the Value of certain artifacts but have more slots, Some with Fewer slots but increases the power of an artifact Etc etc.

I think there should be someway to improve the artifacts, weather by ranking or some other long term kinda difficult way.

Every Arcana Artifact slot could have up to two bonus Lotus tiles. that have a varying effect

 

 

This is simply an example

 

 White Lotus Decrease PP points used similar to how when you use on matching polarity

 

Black Lotus Increase PP points used however Strengthens the Artifact in its slot

 

Red Lotus increases the Artifacts effects

 

Blue Lotus decreases Artifacts effect but lowers PP cost

 

 

Each slot could potentially have up to two Lotus tiles applied to them.

 

 

Example

 

The "Lovers" Arcana given to you by a Flirty Lotus for achieving rank 4

 

 would have 4 Arftifact slots however Two of the slots would have Lotus tiles

 

One bearing the Black Lotus tile

and the other The White and Blue tiles.

 

So you would have two normal arfiacts

 

one more costly but buffed one, and a cheap PP wise one that would have a level down.
