I hope this category is right for thit post!

I think that the weapons in the game have a different calibers, is this true?
Then, for example, I don't think Viper has the same caliber of Lex but when I drop Pistol Ammo i gather only 20+ bullet, but the Lex kill with 1 shot, Viper with 5 hit (hypothetically). From the point of view of the real world, theoretically, Viper uses smaller bullets, therefore less powerful!

I think it is right to change the amount of ammunition under the gun.
What do you think? (:

You mean base on the gun type the different ammo we will get when we pick up ammo? If it is then i agree.

I agree with that, they should redesign a bit the way ammo is reffiled. I always laugh when a drop +20 rifle ammo when i'm using my gorgon...

There's even a short discussion of changing the ammo system to a caliber based one.  The issue with that idea arises when you have 2 weapons of the same caliber, like a Grakata and Afuris.

I think ammo dropped should restore a percent of ammo missing.
