Flareux
So i'm using a 3840 x 2160 UHD Monitor and when i was making a rainmeter skin i noticed that in order to get the skin to match i had to scale it down to 2560x1440. This means that my resolution is downscaled for some reason and it doesn't make sense to me since my resolution settings is set to 3840x2160 so it should be that resolution. I've done some googleing and the only thing i could come up with would be that it's the cabel's fault. I use a HDMI cable and i heard about a cable called DVI which should do "something" but i'm not quite sure. Specs: Intel i7-4770 16 GB Memory Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 192 BIT 3GB Samsung UHD monitor Any of you know what the reason could be behind this? Could use some more experienced people ^^
-Kryptic
The only reason it would be the cable is if you were running 4k@60HZ. Unless you have HDMI 2.0. I believe the 760 has HDMI 2.0 capabilities. The monitor may include dual-link DVI, which has enough bandwidth to run 4K@60HZ. (sorry if I get this wrong, I am going off of what I remember.) EDIT: HDMI 2.0 not 1.2 Edited July 25, 2015 by benzoylmethylecgonine
