Ammo Drops?

Just finished playing some solo levels. About 70% of the ammo drops and found in lockers were pistol, 20% were shot gun and the remaining 10% was rifle ammo. I have rifle scavanger on. I tried multiple factions, and planets all with the same effect.

 

This would be fine if I was running with my beloved Latron, but I want to level my Grakata. One of the most ammo hungery weapons. Needless to say I don't get very far through before I have to switch to my secondary or melee.

 

out of the 6 levels, I did to test this rifle ammo was very scarce even with rifle scavanger, I found about 3 sniper ammos in total, and one single mod.
