Give Me A More Difficult Version Of Each Mission With Rewards Scaled Up

Give a 'prime mode' (name doesn't matter) which scales up the levels of the enemies.

In exchange for more difficult missions, make the rewards worth while so that beating these difficult missions is more efficient than speed farming mercury in 2 minutes over and over hoping Vor drops Morphics this time.

There are a variety of ways to make the rewards better -

1. Have set rewards so you know you'll get 1 or more of the rare component for the planet if you successfully complete all objectives.

2. Just shift the loot table over so you get more uncommon and rare drops.

The problem with shifting the loot table is that you're then stuck farming easy stuff again to get common resources like ferrite.

3. Just make it so there are many MORE drops of resources (and possibly mods).

Another potential problem with this setup is that it could fragment the playerbase. PUGs (pick up groups) may not form as quickly since you're effectively doubling the number of missions in the game.

Eventually you'll have all the veteran members playing the difficult missions - they're more rewarding. So you've got all the new players playing together in the 'early game' missions before you're uber with all the weapons and mods you need to take on the difficult stuff. This could possibly make the game less inviting to new players.

In the end, I think there's more good than bad with a setup like this. It wouldn't be exceedingly difficult to change the levels of enemies. Every mission could just start with enemies 50-100 levels above their normal level.

What are your opinions on something like this?

Thinking of it as a playthrough is interesting as well.

Maybe you have to unlock these missions by playing the prime version of each map just like you unlock missions now.

Start back from the beginning with prime and go through from mercury to pluto again in prime mode.
