Problem Transfering Steam Warframe Files

i already read the FAQ and a few threads/wikis from google.

yet i still cant help out my friend trying to copy the file, it keeps on making her download the 7 gigs despite giving her the newest update. also tried verifying , its just ended up pausing a bit , only to start downloading again. my pal is not exactly computer savvy so its kinda hard to guide through steam chat but i made sure we followed everything according to the page.

im assuming this happens because the launcher doesnt know the location of the files, but we already changed the path on regedit and it still doesnt seem to work.

 

i know this is a lot of hassle rather than just downloading the whole game but my friend has limited quota for her internet so cant exactly be generous with the downloads.

does anyone have a solution? would really appreciate it :D

 

edit: turns out the launcher in tools folder somehow is not connected nor knows where my warframe files are, but by now you should see it in your library if you copied it, thats the launcher that seems to work.

Do it for her with teamviewer or other third party remote control program.
