Orokin Vault

So a friend tried to explain to me why he had me make Ember and not wait to make Ember Prime. Something about Orokin Vault..I looked up the Orokin Vault and could not find any information as to how this thing involves weapons. Can anyone maybe explain it to me in simple terms? The wiki is devastating on my brain. :/

It seems that your friend meant the Prime Vault, aka, where Prime stuff goes when it gets removed from the drop tables.
