I think I have the same problem as you do. Warframe is the only game that does this and it only started recently. It'll usually crash when I play for a long time so I can't play survival and defense missions as long as I want to anymore for fear of crashing. I remember looking up this problem a while ago and there was no solution for it. There was someone who suggested to just restart warframe every so often.

Same issue happening for me too, and this gonna make me insane!!! I sent ticket for it but no answer yet. Untill they give me an answer, i reinstalled my gpu deriver and updated and didn't change anything. I have this crashes like a week now. Warframe crash reporting program running after the crash and gave me this code WAR-529396 last time. I sent in the ticket another one, i hope it helps. I have no idea why this happening but i never seen  warframe crash a lot like in this week. I hope someone hear this...

war-686130

This is the bug number Warframe shows me. I will be in a mission and it will randomly freeze but I can still hear noise and move and shoot. This happens honestly about every mission or every other mission. It has been happening for about a week and almost at the point of not playing anymore until there is a hot fix or something. I run a R7 290x Windforce graphics card and a build on my PC that runs Witcher 3 on highest settings. So pc wise my set up has the ability to run warframe on its highest settings without a problem. Until the last week. What is going on?

Well the code you put down there is the code of your crash report. This is something your computer sent to the Warframe servers. We at the community cannot do much about it, since we don't have that report at hand and we don't know the details of your computer. Hell, if I even know I'm not specialised in it anyway. So drop a support ticket. Explain your situation and then you'll be helped out. It will probably be some fault in the files in your computer.

Oh, one last thing, support is a bit busy this time around, so be patient

I think this is down to the graphics drivers crashing.

Do this once you have had a crash (and before you reload Warframe)

If you press the windows key and r together to bring up the run box;

Type in everything inside the " >>  "notepad %localappdata%\Warframe\EE.log"

In the text file that opens go to edit then find.

In the box that appears type in "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED"

If it finds the entry anywhere in the file then it's a sign that the video card "vanished" from the system while warframe was running. This used to cause blue screens back in the days of Windows XP and Vista but these days the drivers automagically reload themselves but games can't cope with it (yet).

I would start by removing some of the fancy features from the graphics in warframe like physX and tesalation etc and see if that makes a difference.

:)
