Just Asking About Boss Fight

is there any plan on creating more serious boss fight 

 

including features like:

 

1.extremely high hp for long fight(about 10-15 mins only for the boss)

2.Need to observe the action of the boss to dodge his attack(otherwise would take heavy damage)

3.maybe need more complicated special moves to damage the boss ( better than Lech Kril &Jackal)

4.High cooperative skill ( a team with tank,support,crowd control,DPS)

 

the forth point doesn't mean you really need a rhino,trinity.But some teammate should specialist his/her warframe mod on a path(tank mod/multi cast/high damage cast etc.)

 

To be honest, something similar to monster hunter,Diablo 3,dragon nest

 

don't know whether anyone have suggested similar idea before,just asking

1: It's not fun to shoot at a sponge.

2: The Jackle and Hyena somewhat have this feature, and a few other bosses.

4: What's wrong with what we have now? It works fine.

Seems like pretty much every other boss in the game. If you want the bosses to be different, maybe implement "player controlled bosses" :p Or perhaps a game of riddles >.> 

 

Edit: hah, as long as they dont start including quicktime button pressing events like in god of war it should be okay. however you could take a look at some interesting boss fights in demon/dark souls for some ideas. I wont tell if you wont. :p

1: No. Bullet Sponges are not fun.

2: This is needed, right now the bosses are for the most part, just normal enemies with 10x the hp. They need new attacks, dangerous ones. The coolant tubes boss is the way to go in terms of things like that, but even with him he's a total pushover.

3: Ehhh, that would get really annoying seeing as you have to farm the bosses. Why not instead have shooting parts do things to the boss, do enough damage to part X and the boss loses the ability to do something or moves slower, things like that.

4: This game does not revolve around the holy triangle of classes, would not work at all, it isn't a mmorpg.

Actually now that I think about, while I was fruitlessly farming hyena I was wondering to myself "If it says Hyenas attack in packs, why isnt there more than one hyena? Shouldnt there be at least 2 or 3 at the same time?"

 

Then I started thinking "Why arent there instances where you have multiple bosses at the same time." Like maybe some twin bosses, or "fire and ice" combos or something?

 

Also, what might be cool is if we could have an "arena" in our dojo, where we can fight groups of enemies.

 

Maybe all of these things should be in their own topics...

yeah, boss fights need to be a bit challenging. and not by bullS#&$ stuff like phorid's target seeking onehit kill ability that is almost undodgable.

Shouldnt bypass shields I think is the main problem with it. Or the projectiles need to be slower/easier to dodge, or both. I remember hiding behind a big group of boxes on the bridge and still one shot me. :p

3. Agree with both and am currently thinking 'what?'

4. again agree with both of you. You end up with favouritism with what works and what doesnt and from what I hear balancing for this is a painful and arduous act
