For Those Who Use Steam's Big Picture Mode

How do you close the extra Chat Tabs from the PMs you send/receive?

I wanna know if I'm missing something, or if the feature is just missing entirely

As far as I know it's just clicking on the username up top with your right mouse button and the click: close tab.

I have played with controller before, but always with a mouse at hand for things like this. I don't think you're able to close it with your controller.

I bet the feature just isn't there, I used to use Big Picture mode back when I used a controller and I don't remember being able to close chat tabs.

Yeah InglriousB, if you launch the game normally you can easily right-click and close tabs with your mouse. You also have a little bit of controller support.

However, launching Warframe in Big Picture Mode enables full controller support as though you were playing the game on console. I can do everything from navigating the Foundry to changing/fusing mods.

All the button prompts in the UI change to A, B, X, Y, Right/Left Bumpers, etc.

So it's not just me then. It's really annoying trying to close chat tabs with my mouse when I can't see the cursor.

Hey there, on Big Picture mode after you enter in Warframe, you go to menu right, can you open the chat? It only appears |||| instead of LT like it used to.

Oh you know what, I didn't even realize that I use the JoyToKey freeware to open chat in Big Picture Mode.

With the JoyToKey program I assigned my Right Stick buttonto my T key because that's my chat key.
