Update Failed!

I don't know what happened but my warframe is not working. I start it and then it tells me it's looking for updates. After a brief amount of time, the screen popped up with this.

 

Update failed!

 

The content servers are temporarily unavailable.

 

ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT

 

The update will restart shortly..

 

Now first of all I've been trying to do this for well enough an hour, trying to get it working but it doesn't work. I don't know what they mean by internet not connecting because my internet is well connected. Also I've waited for the update to restart and nothing happens except my screen freezing and then saying it's not responding.

 

My warframe platform is not from Steam.

My friend and I have the exact same issue - I can get past this screen when I'm on my VPN, but I can't login. It says "Login failed. Check your info."

If the rest of your programs are still connecting to the Internet, it may be due to your firewall blocking the game. See if that is the case. Otherwise there must be something else preventing the Warframe launcher from connecting to the internet
