Trying To Run Warframe On Linux, But....

So, I'm currently trying to get Warframe working under WINE in Linux Mint 17.3. I tried to follow the steps featured in the guide featured here to the best of my ability, but that ended up blowing up in my face with a ton of errors. Instead, I opted to install it through the Windows version of Steam; it downloaded correctly through the Steam store, and the launcher opened up just fine. However, one update is seeming to cause a peculiar problem: rather than updating the game, it crashes the launcher, and repeatedly opens another instance of it. As of right now, I'm not entirely sure what could be causing it to do that.

 

Are there any fellow Linux users that can help me out with this?

From my research/knowledge, I am not sure if Linux Supports Warframe, because it appears to have had issues with it in the past. The most recent post I could find for you about running Warframe under WINE, is this one right here: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/41660-guide-warframe-on-linux-with-wine/ But this post is dated back to early 2013, so I am not sure how much use, if any, it could be to you. Sorry I couldn't help you any more, my knowledge of Linux is very limited.
