Carrier Prime Shooting Bug (?)

Not sure if this has been discussed or not but I've come to realize that my carrier prime doesn't shoot at all. At All. I then went into the simulacrom to test, and it turns out it only shoots with the mod precept striker. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be like this or not.

Intended. You need the Striker mod if you want it to attack. Which is why it comes with it when you first get the sentinel.
