Double Trade

I heard that you can get banned for trading through another person is it true? For example I wanna give my brother nyx prime set but we're playing on the same console so I can't give it to him directly. So can I trade it to my friend so he'll trade it to my brother? Is there really a ban for doing it?

I'm not sure but I doubt it as it is different accounts. It's no real difference to your brother just logging in on a different console just for the trade. Hopefully someone with more trade knowledge will confirm this though.

Yeah but we're on the same console so that's what I'm interested in. So if I'm trading through my friend/giving it to him and then he's giving it back to my brothers account on the same console.It won't be considered multi-accounts since we're not directly trading it?
