Void Secret Room - How To Get In?

So this Room has always been confusing me. I can never seem to get to the loot on the other sides of the wall/doors that are at both ends of the corridor. The one with the Frost Paths between. I found out that Excalibur's ability allows him to hit things through walls and this helps confirm that these lootcontainers can hold mods...

Watch this, It sometimes closed, But Sometimes, If you stand on the pressure pad, it will open it up for 15 seconds, where you have to run in to get in, or it locks you out.

those loot rooms are only open when the gates on both side are closed, and the death orbs are turned on, you walk up to the gate, trip a button, the gate opens and then you have to run across the gap to the other side before the door closes, beyond that, there is no other way of getting into those two rooms.

So... I can't get to them CAUSE THE DAMN NPC'S ACTIVATE THE PLATES???

The plates that activate it are always pressed when I get to them in game... T_T

Loki switch teleport still works. You can open secret room both side this way.
