Zooming In With Snipers

Hi !

 

Having a bit of an issue here : just got my shinny new vulkar wraith, really like it but I can't get it to zoom in once I'm in the reticle (going from 5 to 10/15 % additional damage). I think it is supposed to be done with the mouse wheel scrolling up/down, but I rebinded it to be melee attacks and I can't find anything called "sniper zoom" in the commands binding menu.

 

Any idea ?

It is tied to whatever button your "secondary fire" is. Look up the key bindings again, and try it out. If it still doesn't work, then I suggest resetting the key bindings to default again, then readjust it from there.

^What he said. I personally changed that to mouse button three. Check it out in the options. It's called secondary fire. This is what will allow you to zoom in further after your initial zoom. Do note that you can change the zoom levels even if you are not zoom in. Just hit your secondary fire button and it will change the zoom level. 

 

Secondary fire is used by many weapons, like Buzlock, Quanta, Harpak, and more. Make sure you bind it to something comfortable.

Oh I see, had no idea of this, never used a weapon with more than fire + aim before. Thanks a lot, will try this next time I log in :)

Its done once you click the mouse wheel i think,rather than scrolling up/down.
