Need Some Advice On Valkyr Build

Basically I want to know which build is better for soloing. I made two builds, one whose primary focus is making Valkyr as tanky as possible and secondary focus is Hysteria. The other build is purely focused on Hysteria. I should mention I use the Zenurik Focus, and I put points into EnergyOverflow so recovering energy when I'm out of Hysteria is not a problem.

The Hysteria Build is a more preferred build in my eyes, especially for solo. I would actually trade that coaction drift with an "eternal war" and maybe trade your power drift for "continuity" as well. Then trade your Rush mod for your preferred drift. Being because you don't really need a large amount of power strength for Hysteria. Even at high levels, with a good melee weapon, hysteria chugs right along fine with a slide attack and a few simple attacks. (IE: Level 100 gunners etc). The Eternal War can be used for your War Cry, to maximize your Hysteria as well, more strikes, more damage done, more killing, then pretty much infinite war cry. 

 

 

Note: You can also maximize your damage done with hysteria by deleting a life strike you have on your melee weapon, because Hysteria has an automatic life strike passive.

Continuity would be pointless, I already have power activation cost and cost per second down to minimum, it doesn't go any lower (6.25 to activate & 0.63 per second). I personally don't care for Warcry, and I know about the health steal of Hysteria, so I have my melee weapon specked accordingly. But I do have one question. It is my understanding that when using Hysteria, the weapons you have have their own stats, and the mods on your equipped melee weapon add on to the stats of the Hysteria weapon, meaning the base stats of the equipped weapon do not matter, only the mods do, is that correct?

That is correct, the mods are the only things that really matter from my experience (Used Silva & Aegis with same build as a Destreza). And I understand about your choice, I personally enjoy primed continuity for my hysteria for War Cry and adding on to the speed, being that I mainly melee with Valkyr. I also don't have problems with hysteria draining too much, even with 0.83 energy per second drain.

Works well for me in T4 and sorties. Use energy restore then press 4

 

I use slide attacks since it deals more damage than spamming E. Usually 1 hit high level enemies without Warcry

Well it is mainly depending on your melee mods. I would say with level 100 gunners, they will be killed pretty easily with a slide attack or two and a few normal hits. They won't be that hard to kill. If you believe that you need more damage, power strength is the way to go for that extra boost, otherwise melee mods slapped on like your elemental combos and what not.

 

(Also, my War Cry makes up greatly for the power strength, more attacks done over time. I would also recommend a critical build for your hysteria, because you can get anywhere up to 10k-20k crit slides on your hysteria)
