Spirokeat
As a casual player I don’t always have the time to grind away at blueprints & resources but I still want to enjoy progression and development in the game. I don’t mind spending platinum but I don’t want it to take away all the of the enjoyment of developing a frame or weapon. I want to have to think about how I’m going to mod it before a catalyst or reactor goes into it. Giving it a potato on purchase takes away that possible progression which is a bad thing as the game gets stripped of an important layer of play. If I really want to potato it up from the outset then the option is already there for 20 plat. My suggestions are as follows. 1. Allow people to purchase frames and weapons without catalysts/reactors This allows players to enjoy working towards slotting a catalyst either instantly in the market or through natural means. 2.Allow platinum to be used in the foundry to replace missing items in blueprints that are purchasable in the market This allows a player to enjoy as much of the process of gaining weapons/frames as they have the time or energy to do. This can all easily be done in a way that doesn’t lose DE money through outright purchases by scaling the cost of each item based on its rarity. It might even tempt players who wouldn’t normally spend a large amount of plat to spend less to facilitate an acquisition.
