lol im picturing a mission where when you join, you have to follow and kill one of the 4 people that are doing a normal mission. so say 4 people just started a raid mission, one would get a threat or something that says its from your guy, then you have to hunt said person down

honestly though, id rather have pvp deathmatch, or capture the flag, or etc over this idea (also idk what people are saying it will be unbalanced for, the dojo room allows pvp, and its awesome. also so many other games are "unbalanced" but still fun like lost planet 2, halo 4, cod. if its "unbalanced" just work your way to getting better items.)

They should do it like if players die from stalkers, turn to stalkers for an amount of matches. They can go and attack matches but in random and their gear and all that would be fixed according to the host. If killed they would have the same drop chance of normal stalker and disappear from the mission like a normal stalker.

Once they killed another player they would turn back to normal. It is like a game of virus. However if say a player is playing with a group of 4 people, once the target dies, the stalker would leave the match. The stalker player cannot pick up any items and has infinite ammo. Once the player that dies leaves the match, they would have to go and infect a person or die a number of matches to become a non-stalker type thing.

Normal stalkers would appear still, but just to add some stalker fun.

Your friends can protect you from the stalker too. The main target is the only person the stalker can infect with the virus and it cannot multiply, unless DE intends to make it like a real outbreak style virus i won't mind either way.

If the stalker player is not killed by the end of the match, the stalker player would have to pay of by giving one of their warframe revives. Thus making players more determined to catch other players. Also stalkers that do not have any more warframe revives and still are not killed will face no penalty except having their number of matches from turning to a tenno remain constant. Another could be giving away a mod or losing and artifact to losing cash.

Stalkers that die do not have to give up a revive but will turn back to a normal tenno after the set number of matches the player plays as the stalker (without infecting anyone) is up.
