Sniping With My Furis

in the huge corpus defence map, i can repeatedly headshot enemies across the dam. Is this how the furis is supposed to be used?

I've tested with a few automatic weapons but not all - the first shot often seems to be dead center where the crosshair is. After that, if the trigger is held, they start going all over the place. Even with the gorgon which has pretty crazy sped when it's fully wound up, you can still use it almost like a latron on the first shot. Very handy and I think fairly realistic - the inaccuracy of fully automatic weapons usually comes from the recoil, not because the weapon itself can't land shots where the barrel is pointing.
