Unable To Play With Friends

Does anyone know how to fix this bug? My friends and I live very near each other, yet we can't play together online for some reason

Well, if you submit a support ticket about this, you'll probably get a canned response of please ensure you are not using Strict NAT.  This is Strict Network Address Translation and it is used when you do not have Universal Plug and Play enabled on your router.

 

Now if you want a better idea of what may cause this, try to eliminate going through more than one router.  This includes connecting to a wireless router that is connected to a wireless gateway.  If this doesn't solve your problem, next step would be to check your router settings to see if it is configured to use UPnP.

I had the same issue with a friend of mine, when we tried to join each other, we were stuck at "please wait".

 

This fixed it for us:

 

Download Tunngle. Launch it, before you launch Warframe. Problem solved. (Both of you have to do this!)

 This is what a support rep told me to do: "please visit this website: http://portforward.com/ select your router and select Warframe.
Follow the instructions for manual port forwarding.
Make sure UPnP is disabled in Warframe as well as on your router."

 

 Seemed to fix my problem.

This is not a common bug in the beginning, it happened after another update or something?
