Aeshi
Grineer Jet Trooper: Realizing that running towards the Tenno waving their weapons around wasn't getting their close-combat units anywhere, the Grineer decided to come up with a different approach to closing the gap, and their latest creation allows its user to do just that. A sort of hybrid of Medium & Light Grineer, (being less armoured than the former, but more armoured than the latter) the Jet Trooper is a close-combat specialist equipped with a large jet-pack on their backs that they use to flank their opponents. Jet Troopers are armed with a Kraken in one hand and a single Furax in the other (or maybe Dual Vipers/Viper+Furax?). They try to use their jetpack to 'hop' up to higher ground and soften the target up with their Kraken before closing in for the kill with melee. They can perform a special melee attack where they jump-jet into the air before slamming down into the ground similar to a Tenno's jump attack. (Possibly there could be a weak spot on their Jetpack that, when shot, causes it to explode as well?) ------------------------------------------------ Corpus Jump Crewman: Based off of reverse-engineered Warframe technology, the Jump Crewman, like the Jet Trooper, can flank the enemy by use of a special mechanism, but whereas the Grineer use simple jump-jets to accomplish this, the Corpus have designed a more advanced pair of boots that work similarly to Vauban's Bounce power. Unlike the Jet Trooper, Jump Crewmen favor ranged combat, using their boots to leap up onto high vantage points where they can snipe at any unwelcome Tenno using their Lanka. If forced into melee they can perform a few basic swipes with a Prova attached to their belt (though they're not as good as actual Prod Crewmen), along with a special attack where they 'charge up' one of their boots before kicking their target with it, causing them to be sent flying backwards. Appearance wise they are similar to a regular Crewman, but have several key differences in that their Helmet is more swept-back/aerodynamic in appearance, they have a small 'power-pack/reactor' of sorts on their back, and they have larger, advanced-looking boots. (Possibly there could be a weak spot on their 'Power pack/reactor' that when shot, causes it to short-circuit?) ------------------------------------------------ If enough people like these, I might come up with an Infested version as well. Enomilli
The Jetpack idea was already asked for...the coding on that could be a bit iffy but I'm liking the Corpus Jumpman idea...
Aeshi
The Jetpack idea was already asked for...the coding on that could be a bit iffy but I'm liking the Corpus Jumpman idea... It's not a true "fly around" Jetpack, it's more of a "Rocket Jump/Jump-Jet" Jetpack.
