Hello, can't find the drones to scan.

tried tyl regor 50+ times and nothing happens

any ideas ?

What mastery rank are you ? anything lower than mr3 won't be able to encounter the drones. Or you're just getting insanely bad rng the more missions you do the higher chance you'll get for them to spawn if you don't abort/fail the missions

Try Desdemona on Uranus.  I've never seen drones at Titania (where Tyl Regor is), but I always see them at Desdemona.

Desdemona is the best place to look for drones, never once seen them on Titania.

Hello, I just gained access to Natah. Everyone's right, try Desdemona on Uranus. Some tips from past threads on this problem:

1. Screen flickers light blue/white like a shield hit; spooky chorus in the background

2. Usually on Desdemona (Capture), you would experience the above before or around entering the Capture target's starting room. If not, probably would not appear/someone got to it and made it leave.

3. After the flicker, the drone would be a few rooms/tiles away from you.

4. Looks like a floating "A" or "R" and glows blue

5. Use a Codex/Synthesis Scanner, they allow you to see through walls and check the shapes of enemies, and the drone looks very distinct and floats. This is useful if you don't have/don't like stealth frames and don't want to scare it away.

6. Watch this video to see what an encounter looks like, note the noises, flicker, and the drone's appearance.

 

Feels like catching Pokemon.
