Taking lots of damage

Ok so I leveled up my oberon to max without mods that boosted up his armor and health. He was doing fine but when I put those mods in he taking so much damage ito insane even though his sheild is 580 and health is 850 but I'm still getting my but kicked in every mission.how do I fix this.

Are u fighting the same kind of enemies, or you are playing different missions. That shouldnt happen, try testing on the simulator if you can access to it. If not go do a simple mission on low level planet and let the enemies hit you with both builds and see the numbers. If that really is happening take screenshots and report the bug.
