SicSlaver
Allow us to be able to shoot while being dragged by the scorpion wire, but not when we're initially grabbed and drop to the ground. Just flailing about as we get reeled in doesn't feel very ninja. The aiming reticle could become shaky to add to the challenge as well. Shooting the scorpion who has us will end the dragging early. Ronin666
Kill it first?I think it's a good mechanic that punishes players for careless play, or rushers for that matter.
MetalGerbil
or you can be a true ninja and dodge it. it has travel time and an easy animation to read. you can easily avoid most just by being a bit erratic in your movement when they are around. most of the time they just miss and are stuck in their throwing animation for a while, easy targets. misoru2012
Don't listen to these guys, your idea is good. I also hate being hit by scorpions, being dragged around is NOT fun for a game that's all about momentum.

This -^ Don't listen to these guys, your idea is good. I also hate being hit by scorpions, being dragged around is NOT fun for a game that's all about momentum. Players dictate the momentum. There are other obstacles in the game surmounted with speed, skills, and maneuvers. This is just another obstacle. It is irritating, but I see no harm in it. It always keeps oneself on the lookout for incoming enemies, rather than being tunnel-visioned down weapon sights.
BadAimbot
Run to the side. As long as they don't catch you off guard it works pretty well.
SicSlaver
And what happens when you do get caught off guard? Even bullets can be dodged, but that wasn't my point. I'm not having trouble with it, I'm just suggesting something cool to be added.
