Clan leader inactive

Ive been part of a clan since right near its beginning however the leader and most members no longer play. We upgraded the clan tier though people have left, now since there are only 4 or 5 of us in the clan playing we can't afford the higher tier, is there a way we can have our clan tier lowered?

If your leader's been inactive long enough, you could send a support message to DE to have clan ownership transferred. In my case the leader'd been gone for over a year and I had his permission, though, so good luck.

"If the Warlord(s) or Creator of a clan has been inactive for 30 days or longer they can be replaced by submitting a ticket to our support desk (we want to ensure that all clans are able to function correctly, which is not possible without at least one active Warlord). Digital Extremes makes it our policy not to get involved with internal clan matters and any other difficulties that may arise with a Warlord or other players in a clan will generally need to be resolved internally by the clan members involved."

I have seen a few people branch off from their clan to make their own... in situations like this.

 

Maybe the best option would be for you all to make a new clan or join an active one.
