Chargers Should Be The Xenomoph Of This Game

I like playing infested as it feels like a hoard scale gameplay, playing high level solo also gives a fear factor to it if you tone the brightness down.

 

Right now chargers, they're useless easy kills, they pose no threat or challenge to a average skilled player.

 

Why is it that Teno's can use the enviroment to run, jump, slide around in but the enemy is confined as hell?

 

How about the chargers get some much needed kickass, and have them move around like xenomorphs. Have them run on walls and do all sorts that come to your imagination.

Heck, have them be able to walk on any surface. If they add a leap when they have the high ground, that'd be cool. Leap at you for a knockdown and damage.

I like the difficulty but high level if some infested stuns you and some chargers hit you your shields go poof and they take the pod doen faster than any other infested but I would like the challenge this would bring

Perhaps instead of a updating the current chargers, make a new Elite/Heavy version of the charger that can do all these things. While yes, on high levels they're barely worth mentioning, for starter players they provide plenty of challenge until they smart up.

 

Or do both; Update normal chargers to be able to walk on walls and jump across obstacles, but otherwise have no new attacks, while introducing a Heavy Charger which can rapidly jump between surfaces ( including walls and ceilings) and can do a Knock-Down Leap. Perhaps also have faster standard attacks (with a lower chance to stun compared to normal charger to compensate) and a 'jump back' move they use when you start to melee them, with enough delay between you swinging and them dodging so you can still get 1-3 hits in, depending on your melee weapon.

 

All in all, something to make them less predictable, while keeping them from simply trolling players (not that they would, but you know how people talk...)
