Current alert apps?

So, I really want to get an app that can notify me when specific stuff I'm after comes up in alerts. I've lurked the forum for suggestions. To this end I've experimented with a few apps and all of them have problems for me...

Wardroid notifies me every time a new alert comes out, regardless what my notification filters are set to.

Warframe Alerts works great but is discontinued, out of date and the filters reset themselves randomly every day.

Warframe - what appears to be the official app, is super memory heavy, clunky, and the notifications don't seem to work unless the app is open and the device actually active.

Warframe Nexus is an app I hear talked about a lot but can't find; it seems to be discontinued.,

Basically, can anyone point me to a new, more up to date app, some other method of getting filtered alert notifications on my android device, or perhaps has managed to get the existing apps to work reliably and can tell me what's going wrong?

I don't know about anyone else, and I'm too poor for anything save a burner phone, but I still use King Taro's alert website here. It's just browser based, and does need to be open.
