Gameplay Nitpicks

1. Able to switch left/right shoulder views while sprinting.

 

2. When running up a wall straight up, be able to wall jump left and right instead of only backwards. This allows quicker access to overhanging platforms, rather than depending on there being a box to climb. Basically, be able to run up a wall and grab onto a ledge on the left or right of the player. Right now players have to rely on the overhanging platform being low enough for a jump.

3. Enemies can detect you through mostly solid railings. Yes those railings have holes in them, but not large enough to notice a person through, except on specific corners where there is no railing at all.

 

4. Able to hit multiple enemies at the same time with a wide-range melee weapon. For example with the default sword, it only seems to hit one enemy despite the sword swing being wide and horizontal passing through 3 enemies in total. I suppose this shouldn't be implemented if it alters balance between melee weapons too much.

 

5. Progress restrictive missions. Right now players can pretty much sprint and slide their way through whole missions really quickly, avoiding a ton of combat without having to use stealth. The only combat taking place is usually just on enemies that get in the way. Not to mention a lot of scenery is ignored.

There should be obstacles that prevent progress in the mission if players are just rushing through. Lockdowns work but they don't occur often enough. Here's a few ideas. I'm just saying something like this should be implemented, not exactly what I suggest.

-enemy ambush, sometimes if players are detected and enter another room, hordes of enemies suddenly enter and the room is on lockdown until alll enemies are defeated.

-players must be undetected to complete certain objectives, thus requiring either more stealth or killing all enemies in the room.

-take longer to hack, making lockdown a bigger deal.

-traps, this would make players to be more cautious

 

6. For those players that like the parkour and moving quickly from place to place here are some extra mission types I thought of. These missions are timed and can require more complicated maneuvers such as wall running to accomplish on time:

-Bomb Disposal: an enemy group has set a bomb, and the objective is to get to it and defuse it before it explodes.

-Chase: The objective is to assassinate a target, but the target must be killed before it escapes.

The map is linear, perhaps with multiple routes, so the target has to reach escape pods or a vehicle at the end of the obstacle course.

-Hunt: The objective is to kill a running target. The map is non-linear allowing players to come up with their own ways of killing the target. These ways can involve having a player attempt to snipe the target, lockdown door to hinder the target's movement, or the team can collaberate and surround the target.

-Black Box: an item containing sensitive information of high value has been discovered and it must be retrieved before an enemy group gets their hands on it.

-anything else that can invlolve a time limit and require the execution of more advanced maneuvers
