[Suggestion] Next "extermination" Event

As we all know, next extermination event is most likely going to be an infested one.

What about an assassination event. I believe they were working on a new look for the ancients. So why not just a giant version as a boss. (I know Golem is a bigger version of the ancients, but that's not big enough). And not just one of these things as a boss, but multiple in the same room. Maybe it even starts as one and at a certain point it splits into three, four or even six and every single one has one of the abilities of the main boss. One might throw poison spikes, another teleports and smacks you around, yet another starts a link with a single tenno and rapidly sucks up their energy and/or shields and releases a roar of devastating energy proportionally to the amount sucked up when the link gets broken (tenno runs away far enough, that specific splitted boss is staggered, tenno's energy and/or shields has been depleted or simply after a several amount of seconds). They could also all have their own special immunities, one could be fireproof, another knockdown and stagger immune or whatever other things you could think off (Just saying, this is infested we're talking about, anything could be possible).

Of course when you enter the boss room it could simply start with 3 to 6 bosses at the same time and they all have their own special attack, ability and/or immunity.

By having an assassination event with multiple bosses at the same time that all have their own specialty of making it hard for you to maneuver properly and making it hard to even start shooting them it immediately becomes an cooperative event, something a lot of people have been complaining about lately. However this does mean that exploits, which can make it easy for people to solo these bosses, have to be minimized. This might mean that a special room has to be designed for this particular boss fight, so tenno can't simply sit on a rock taking pot shots or stairs that can get them stuck. Even giving these bosses particular abilities that can get them close to you wherever you are (or the other way around) or giving them ranged attacks or abilities might be enough to remove these exploits. Then again a special boss room would be awesome.

This boss then should probably be present in Eris (or a new area or something) and be at least level 60 (in health, armor and some of them possibly a makeshift shield through orokin infused plating or something like that). Yes, this would make them bullet sponges (maybe even worse than phorid), but if these bosses have very hard to deal with abilities and possibly even stages, this would be a good thing. And I don't know about you, but I want these events to be a challenge.

So what will the goal be?
The goal could simply be the same as with the other extermination events. Hordes of horrible ancient infested monsters have been found on Eris. They are controlling legions of infested and must be exterminated to stop them from invading the whole solar system.
And as always a progress bar will show how much percent of the horde has been eliminated. Seeing as these are bosses the goal shouldn't be millions, but about 100,000 times the number of bosses per room.

And the leaderboards?

It is still possible to have the top 100 kills leaderboard for people that just have too much time available during these events, however the boss kills during a mission should then count towards the operation kills of everybody in the squad, but only once towards the progress bar.

A different kind of leaderboard should also be present. One that rewards skill instead of tremendous amount of discipline. It should reward teamwork, team play and efficiency. Efficiency could simply be put as: how fast did they kill the bosses? Teamwork and team play is a bit harder seeing as people usually play differently. This can be done with having a certain job you need to fulfill.

For instance these jobs:

Assassin: Dealing as much damage as possible while avoiding as much damage taken.

Tank: Reducing as much damage as possible from fellow tenno by taking the damage itself, taunting enemies away from others by using certain abilities (abilities like decoy and molt) or staggering or knocking down or stunning enemies.

Support: Healing damage fellow tenno have taken; restoring their shields and energy; buffing your allies. (buffs coming from abilit like speed and roar)

The tank and support should still get points for damage dealt, but just not as much as the assassin.

Reviving should then be part of the support job or everyone should be able to revive for team play points.
This might mean that you should choose a job at the beginning of the event or that you are able to choose a job every single time you want to start a mission.

Being able to choose a job will also provide players the freedom to play with any warframe they see fit for this job.

After all this you can set up a formula for average skill points per mission per player and set up a top 100 (maybe even 1000 or 10000) for players with the best average of skill points. However for players to actually qualify they for instance need to have started and succeeded at least 10 of these boss missions.

A leaderboard for clans can also be created using this type of formula, showing the average skill points of the clan as a whole and again players in the clan are only used in this calculation when they've succeeded at least 10 boss missions.

TL;DR -  Suggestion for the next extermination event: an infested assassination event with multiple bosses in the same room that all have their own special attack/ability.
The leaderboards can be created by looking at how efficient a squad is at succeeding the mission and how well someone did their job (Being an assassin, tank or support).

Looks great! Although DE is going to have one hell of a time getting the efficiency thing to work.

What I was thinking for the efficiency thing is awarding a squad points for how fast they are able to kill the assassination target(s). Yes this could bear the possibility that a squad of four people that all chose the assassination job rush in and kill the boss as quickly as possibly, but you've got to keep in mind that when you have that job you need to get as little amount of damage as possible and because there is no tank and if the bosses are hard enough people will get hurt a lot by these things and that will decrease their amount of points.

They could try to not get damaged by running away or using frames like loki to use decoy to draw their attention away, but that decreases the possible output of damage, increasing the amount of time it takes to kill the bosses, which again decreases their total amount of points.
Still it requires a lot of teamwork to get it to work: High risk, High reward.

Fairly sure DE doesn't want the Holy Trinity in this game.

/shrug

I wouldn't mind a boss event though.

That all depends on how many points you award for each of the aspects of a support role, but you could also put in a possible risk for choosing this role, like whenever someone dies you will lose a lot of possible points and reviving won't be able to negate this effect. Reviving would still award points, but not in any way enough to compensate for letting someone die in the first place.

Also this: Any suggestions for improvement or change? Feel free to put them into your replies!
