Did steam used to log me in differently?

So after waiting almost a month for a response on a ticket, DE got back to me and said "You didn't buy anything on this account." Which I have like 20 steam emails that say otherwise.

So my question is, when Steam used to log me in automatically before the launcher came around, would it have used a different login than just my email? Because DE is saying my current account (The one with this email) didn't buy any plat or items, but I have all these emails saying otherwise.

Is your Steam email different from your warframe email? strangly they  can be differant

Nope, it's been the same email since I made it, any other ones that it could've been I've already tried logging in with.
