When you rescue the hostage and try to escape without them dying, it seems like they are trying to kill themselves. They will go into cover in a group of enemies, go off seeking enemies to try and kill herself or something, and not even follow you sometimes. It's a lot easier in a squad of 4 people, because you just kill anything and everything that you stumble on. But if you're soloing, it's difficult to try to escape, while constantly back tracking and protecting this hostage with a death wish, all at the same time trying to kill everything. Please make the hostage AI better... because it kinda really sucks :( Maybe the hostage could get a speed boost to keep up with you, and maybe they shouldn't run into the middle of a big enemy group. tldr: Hostage AI sucks.
