The are some issues with this tests:

a) Generaly there is no info what would be in test, as result some tests can be failed by not bringing needed equipment or instead bringing something that will get in your way. Game should give a hint what test it will be, like :

"You need to be fast in that one" or "You need precision in that one"

b) It should be impossible to take Sentinels in tests. They can ease some tests dramaticaly. For example Rank 4 test requires from player to do absolutely nothing if he brings Shade.
