Clan emblem help about how it'll look ingame

So, I decided that I'll start my own clan. I made an emblem, but after reading up so many horror stories about terrible bloom (and experiencing one with my current clan's emblem) I'd like to ask if anyone could give me tips on how it'll look like/how to fix it.

Here it is:

Are those white shards just gonna become a crazy bloom mess? Should I use an off-white rather than #ffffff? What about the gradient? I read this guide and also this. With the latter I created this possible preview:

And that's adding double as much effect as the guide suggests. Is it accurate?

I'm no expert, but it might look a bit bright. I had someone help me design my emblem, and they tinted it darker because the in-game lighting makes it appear really bright,
