I don't really get what they meant by "upgrade your pack." So like, if I buy a level 1 pack and I upgrade to a level 2, Do I get the items that isn't available for the level 1 pack? What about the platinum? Do we get the missing amount of platinum to satisfy the amount of platinum level 2 pack gives you? I'm confused.

Yes your theory is correct.

If you buy the Level one, then upgrade to level 2 you will get the difference of plat and the items from the next pack. You can buy the level 1 and then upgrade to the 3 if you'd like.
