I know the ideal would be waiting for the right eximus stronghold, but I gave up waiting and would like to try getting my last Arid Seeker eximus scans. So lets look at the possibilities on Mars (codex claims they show up on Phobos but i see no grineer nodes there):
1. Exterminates. Fast and simple, at least 2 eximus will spawn at the exit. Totals up to 3 or 4 eximus with the whole mission.
2. Defense. Takes a while, have to be prepared to stay against hard hitting units. What wave do they start spawning anyways?
3. Excavation. Takes a while, also have to be prepared to stay against hard hitting units. Enemies used to scale with excavators deployed(?) but I really wasn't seeing that happen. Stayed for quite a while and no eximus showed up.
